Description: This piece consisted of aluminum laminated panels onto which I mounted overlapping circular mirrors of varying sizes. Text applied to the mirror surface represented statistical data about domestic violence, IPV and femicide from a global, national and local perspective. The utilization of mirrors allowed viewers to become visibly integrated into the artwork underscoring the reality that although seemingly invisible, this hostile environment surrounds us every minute of every day - whether we chose to acknowledge it’s presence or not.
