Themes: identity, seeking perfection and self through body modification.

 

Description: Reclaimed and repurposed fiberglass mannequin coated with a chalk board finish, exterior chalk markings identify anatomical areas in anticipation of surgical alteration. The hollow form was filled with chalk. A neon halo was fixtured above the body form and where a head might be while a pair of women's spike high heels were positioned on the floor below.
