Fly on the Wall

 

Themes: domestic, violence, IPV, femicide, behind closed doors, predatory behavior, fear and intimidation

Description: This was an additional iteration of the former work titled 'Books of Knowledge, 1992'. Here ten of the altered books from the former set were installed on a suspended book shelf that had been mounted to panels covered in a wallpaper repeat pattern of an illustration depicting a mother bird trying to protect her nest from a snake. Additional books were exhibited in open spreads in a side display case with project description.
