Eye Candy

Description: Mounds of constantly changing trash found in bins at the local landfill are filled with layers of conspicuous waste presumably once desired, coveted, purposeful, treasured. This graveyard of discarded consumer desire, once eye candy has become the wasteland directly associated with climate change. Images of trash taken at the Bailey Landfill, Chilliwack BC have been digitally combined with visual overlays replicating lifesaver-shaped, edible gummy-inspired forms.
