Mother Tongue

Description: The work involved the translation of the words, 'My Voice' into over one hundred select languages currently spoken in Canada. These were formatted into a graphic assemblage and dye sublimated onto textile. spanning over 35 ft. Accompanying the piece was an audio recording of baby babble.
