Reflections ll

Description: Scattering of fifty pate de verre hand cast crystal glass leaves whose upper surface has been dichroically coated to refract light. The castings were created directly from natural leaf impressions. As with the larger leaves in this body of work, the entire spectrum of visible color alters depending upon the angle of refraction whereby slight movement around the work presents a viewer with the entire seasonal color spectrum. Metaphorically the work references natural relationships, the function of light reflection on leaves as relates to environmental climate change.
